Who am I and why should you listen to me?

I'm Mistelle

immigrant, mentor, 9-5er, and moving abroad expert

Hey, I’m Mistelle an American abroad, job-hunting survivor, and the person who figured out how to land work overseas without selling my soul to LinkedIn or faking a visa.

Back in 2013, I moved to Switzerland with a job. Sounds dreamy, right? Fast forward to our move to Austria a few years later… no job, no visa, no roadmap. Just me (and my husband), a newborn, and a lot of yelling into pillows.

Spoiler: I cracked the code.

I’ve been the one applying from abroad, rewriting resumes (hint: they're called Curriculum Vitae (CV) here) for foreign markets, and figuring out what makes international employers actually pay attention. I've helped others do the same, without industry connections or unicorn-level skills.
