Start Actually Planning Your Move Abroad.
Endless tabs. Conflicting advice. Spiraling at 2am about visas. Sound familiar?
Yeah, I’ve been there. More than once.
But here’s the thing: moving abroad doesn’t have to feel like you’re piecing together a 10,000-piece IKEA set with the instructions in Swedish.
What you really need is a roadmap.
That’s where Research & Register comes in—my step-by-step guide to cut through the chaos, figure out where the hell you’re actually moving, and sort out your visa without losing your mind (or your bank account).
😩 You’ve been “researching” for weeks (or months, but who's judging) and the only thing you’re confident about is that the internet hates you.
🫠 Every article, blog, or TikTok says something different. One says Portugal is heaven on earth, another says avoid it like the plague. And don’t even get me started on the visa blogs that contradict each other every other sentence.
😭 You’ve got so many tabs open you’re about to short-circuit your laptop, but still no actual plan.
Yep. Been there. More than once.
But here’s the truth:
👉 Getting a visa is possible.
👉 Picking your country doesn’t have to feel like roulette.
👉 And no, you don’t need a law degree to figure this out.
Your simple, step-by-step guide to choosing your perfect destination and navigating visas like a pro.
This isn’t generic “Top 10 Best Countries” garbage you can find on Google.
This is an actionable roadmap that gets you out of analysis paralysis and into actually planning your move.
By the time you’re done, you won’t just know where you’re going—you’ll know exactly what it takes to get there.

✈️ You’ve got a clear, personalized plan.
✈️ You know which country fits your budget, your lifestyle, and your why.

Your Personal AI Guide to Picking the Perfect Country Abroad
Think of this as your brutally honest, hilariously sarcastic, but secretly caring best friend who just happens to know the ins and outs of moving abroad. Forget cookie-cutter “expat influencer” lists — this bot digs into your deal-breakers, dream must-haves, finances, and quirks to give you a shortlist of countries where you’d actually thrive.
You’ll never waste hours scrolling expat blogs, comparing visa pages, or wondering if you just made the world’s worst moving mistake again.
Here’s what it does for you:
✅ Cuts through the fluff to find countries that actually fit your life (not just Instagram fantasies)
✅ Flags the “nope zones” where you’d likely face discrimination, financial ruin, or just pure misery
✅ Balances practical stuff (visas, healthcare, affordability, stability) with the fun bits (climate, culture, vibe)
✅ Asks you the right questions so you don’t forget deal-breakers you’ll regret later
✅ Saves you from the overwhelm of too many options by narrowing it to a sharp, realistic shortlist
With No Place Like Somewhere Else, you’ll get a crystal-clear idea of where you belong — a place that matches your lifestyle, respects who you are, and doesn’t drain your wallet. That means fewer “what ifs,” more confident decisions, and the relief of knowing you’re not moving somewhere just because everyone else is doing it.

Hey there, new Friend!
immigrant, mentor, 9-5er, and moving abroad expert
I got my start of moving abroad as a newborn, surviving my first international move at only 6-weeks old. After moving around more than 20 times in my life, I took my first adult international move in 2013 to Switzerland.
Welcome to being completely unprepared. While we had a relocation consultant who helped us with the paperwork and a company-sponsored move (whoa all the packing)... we had no idea what we were doing. And it showed.
I mean, we showed up to our empty European-sized apartment (and an EU-sized lift to match) with our American-sized furniture, and a set of movers who probably hated us as they dragged our queen-sized sleigh bed up seven flights of stairs.
Talk about feeling awkward! 😬
Our next move was to Vienna, Austria, but this time we had a 6-month old in tow, and we took what we learned from moving to Switzerland and made fewer mistakes. But we still stumbled over a few, errr.. interesting adventures in taxes and finances, one that cost us more than 10,000 Euros 🤯.
When we moved back to Switzerland in 2020 during the global pandemic, we were prepared. Checklist in hand, this move was smooth sailing. We were prepared for the chaos, scaled-down furniture and three-year old ready to go.
Now, we're finally settled into a house we own in a little town in central Switzerland. I've learned a thing (or 12) about what it takes to move internationally - both alone and with a family.
So I can confidently say that if I can successfully, simply, stress-freely move my family across borders during a global pandemic, I can help you do the same 🩵
